Recklinghausen Tourism on Komoot
Recklinghausen lies on the border between Münsterland and the Ruhr region. The picturesque old town invites visitors to shop, dine, and linger. Impressive slag heaps and industrial heritage monuments form a backdrop for unique excursions.

Together with our cooperation partner, the ADFC Vest Recklinghausen eV, we offer cycling tours on Komoot that have been tested and found to be good, and are therefore safe and fun.
Numerous hiking routes are already featured in our profile. A brand new addition is the Urban.Trail in Recklinghausen, a joint project of the cities of Recklinghausen, Herne, and Herten, in cooperation with Ruhr Tourismus GmbH, the Regionalverband Ruhr, and the Sauerländischer Gebirgsverein.
