In addition to its industrial culture, Recklinghausen has a rich history to tell as a medieval trading hub and later Hanseatic city. The 2-hour tour, accompanied by a qualified tour guide, will pick you up around the year 800, when the city was first mentioned by the Carolingian royal court, and will take you to the present day, when the Ruhr Festival and a lively economy are the face of the city Shape Recklinghausen.
