Welcome to Recklinghausen.
Recklinghausen is on the border between Münsterland and the Ruhr area. It is precisely this mix of the relaxed atmosphere of the Münsterland and lively city life in the district that makes up the quality of life: the city is a center for trade, services, education and culture. The picturesque old town invites you to shop, feast and linger. Imposing heaps and the monuments of industrial culture form the backdrop for excursions of a special kind. In addition to many museums and numerous leisure activities, the internationally renowned Ruhr Festival is another highlight.

Book your tour through the nature and water adventure park in Castrop-Rauxel/Recklinghausen on April 23 (16 to 17:30 pm) with the Emscher guides of the EGLV.
Where the Emscher, Suderwicher Bach and Rhine-Herne Canal meet, a roughly 30-hectare nature and water adventure park has been created in recent years. What was once known as "Köttelbecke" is now a place for nature, water and recreation.
The tour is free, but a ticket is mandatory. The number of participants is limited.
Tickets are available either from our Tourist Information office or right here (Clicking the link will take you to the booking page).
